Unknown and Unknowable, but KNOW

CrossFit is all about training for the unknown and unknowable. That is the single principle I love about CrossFit training. In my case, the military, I cannot know for sure what stresses my body will endure everyday. Sure I have a set schedule right now, but if all the training I do comes down to one moment, one situation in which my training could potentially save my life or the lives of others…it’s worth it.

However, I say always KNOW what your body is capable of. Take your body to that physical breaking point. The point where you are not sure what will happen if you push it any harder. That place we all rarely go.

Do you know what would happen to your body if you were to sprint at your all out hardest for 400m?
Do you know what would happen to your body if you were to lift 50/100/200lbs. over your head?

Go learn something about yourself today.  Then do it again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day…
